+ What public health precautions do you take for in-person appointments?

We are closely following CDC guidelines to prevent and limit the spread of germs. As a professional in the public health sphere, we closely follow social distancing, mask, and hand washing guidelines and regularly monitor for any symptoms or potential exposure in my daily life.

We will screen each patient for symptoms prior to appointments, provide a brand-new disposable surgical mask per request, limit the waiting room to clients only, have hand sanitizer readily available, and regularly disinfect all surfaces. Our office also has a window that can be opened to improve ventilation.

If you are feeling ill, have been exposed to covid, or suspect that you may have been exposed, please contact us to reschedule your appointment. Unfortunately, anybody experiencing symptoms will not be able to visit the office for appointments. We are happy to provide telepsych and teletherapy in these situations.

+ What is telepsych?

Telepsych uses technology to conduct sessions online instead of face-to-face. This allows us to offer more flexible appointment times and continue uninterrupted sessions throughout the COVID-19 crisis. We use a HIPAA-compliant video chat that you can access through your client portal. Our sessions are confidential and secure, and there is nobody else present when we meet with you.

+ What do I need for telepsych?

All you need is a computer with a camera and microphone or a smartphone, a strong w-fi signal, and a safe, private well-lit space to conduct your session. Please find a quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking freely, will not be disrupted, and will be easy to see and hear.

+ Is your practice inclusive?
